Biography
Colleen Hoover was born on December 11th, 1979 in the city of Sulphur Springs located in the state of Texas. Her parents, Vannoy Fite and Eddie Fennell, were the ones responsible for bringing her into this world. Saltillo, Texas, is not only where she was born, but also where she spent her childhood. Saltillo High School bestowed upon her the diploma of graduate in the year 1998.
She tied the knot with Heath Hoover in the year 2000, and the couple now shares parental responsibilities for three children. Hoover received his Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Texas A&M University in Commerce (A&M-Commerce).

In November of 2011, Colleen began writing what would become her first novel, although she had no intention of ever having it published at the time.
She was motivated by a line from the Avett Brothers song “Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise,” “decide what to be and go be it,” and she incorporated Avett Brothers lyrics into the narrative at various points.
Atria Books published Confess on March 10th, 2015 and made it available to the public. It was first made available on March 29, 2015, and reached its highest position on the New York Times Best Seller list at number 9. Since then, it has been developed into an original television series called Awestruck, which is scheduled to make its debut in April 2017 on go90.com and the go90 app, which is available for download on both iOS and Android devices.
Slammed Hoover’s debut novel, titled simply Slammed, was released by the author under his own imprint in January of 2012.
Losing Hope, a companion book written from a different point of view to Hopeless, was published by Atria Books on July 8, 2013.
It first appeared on the New York Times Best Seller list on July 28, 2013, and it reached its highest position of number 6 there the following day.
Atria Books presented the world with Ugly Love on August 5th, 2014, when it was first published.
November Nine was made available to the public for the first time by Atria Books on November 10th, 2015.
