Dress to Impress at a Fraction of the Cost! Hiring is the Way to Go!

With the teenage daughter’s first prom coming up, it was a bit scary. The request for money to buy that prom outfit she just had to have…or I’d be the worst father ever.

Dilemmas!

Now everyone wants to provide the best for their loved ones but sometimes that comes with a price tag that is a passport to penury as my dear old dad used to say.

Most men have a suit that does for most occasions and when it doesn’t that’s when we hire. Women buy new things they don’t hire…..or do they?

Hire! Of course.

Just the trigger of that simple four-letter word led to a great company that does dress hire in Brisbane.

Dress hire for girls going to proms and women going to formal evening do’s, galas and of course, weddings is big business in Queensland as in all of the main metro areas.

It makes sense. Renting is a far more cost-effective way for dressing to impress at a one-off event.

Firstly you’re able to get the designer pieces that would be beyond most budgets. Firms are able to offer you a staggering variety of formal wear, far more than you’d find in your everyday department store, even the best.

In addition to choice, there are other considerations that people often overlook. For example, there is no long-term storage for items that may frankly never be used again, just admired with a tinge of regret perhaps, and a tear in the eye as memories fade along with the clothing!

Also, professional cleaning is not required. Of course, when renting an outfit that is particularly onerous and expensive task for anyone buying new, is done for you. All you need to do is return the item in a fit state.

If the dress fits….

And “fit” also applies to another benefit of hiring. The fact that hiring firms such as the brilliant place mentioned above have their team of fitters and alterers so that an outfit is perfect for you.

Or more exactly in my case your daughter!

The prom was a success and everyone said how great she looked in the Mermaid Dress she selected.

And for dad the under $400 price tag was fine – even if she did meet a boy at the prom.

Some things you can’t bargain for!
