Kalabrya met Dwayne Haskins in 2018, when he was a quarterback for Ohio State University. They started dating and fell in love. They got engaged in 2020 and tied the knot on March 19, 2021, in a lavish ceremony in Las Vegas. They had two children together, a son named Dwayne Jr. and a daughter named Kali.

Kalabrya also filed a lawsuit against the driver of the truck, the trucking company, and the Florida Department of Transportation, claiming that they were responsible for Dwayne’s death. She alleged that the driver was negligent and reckless, that the trucking company failed to properly train and supervise the driver, and that the department failed to maintain safe and adequate lighting and signage on the highway. She sought damages for wrongful death, loss of consortium, pain and suffering, and funeral expenses.
