He was born on April 18,1970 but due to a late registration of his birth by his father, he celebrates his birthday on April 19th every year. He is currently 53 years of age and a bearer of the Aries Zodiac sign. He is also known by the accolade “El sol de Mexico (The Sun of Mexico)” which was derived from a nickname his mother gave him as a child. He got the passion to pursue music from his father, who was also singer.
