Cheese may be purchased at the Desert Trader on Fridays in exchange for 1 Emerald.

Emerald is one of the options for the Treasure Hunter’s Bundle in the Boiler Room (Remixed)

Forging

Emerald can be used at the Forge to increase the speed of a melee weapon.

Recipes

Emerald is not used in any recipes.

Tailoring

Emerald is used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create a Shirt. It can be used in dyeing, serving as a green dye at the dye pots, located in Emily’s and Haley’s house, 2 Willow Lane.

Quests

Emerald may be randomly requested during any season at the “Help Wanted” board outside Pierre’s General Store for a reward of 50g and 150 Friendship points. Emerald will never be requested until you have reached level 80+ of The Mines Two Emeralds may be requested by Octopus, Rainbow Trout, Spook Fish, or Super Cucumber in a Fish Pond quest to increase the capacity of the pond from 5 to 7. Emerald will be requested by Emily as part of the “Rock Rejuvenation” quest at the Special Orders board outside Mayor Lewis’ house. May be used in the Gem Birds puzzle on Ginger Island.
