Most of the time you’ll find it there on days without precipitation, and depending on your fishing prowess, you’ll have anywhere from a 15% to 27% chance of catching a Woodskip with every cast. Up in the upper Fishing Zones, the Woodskip has a better chance of catching something. On the Forest Farm, you have anywhere from a 0% chance to a 17.5% chance of catching a Woodskip every cast, depending on your daily luck. It has a random chance of being sold for 225-1,000g at the Traveling Cart.

Fish Pond
You can put Woodskips in a Fish Pond, where they will have babies every two days. The pond can hold one fish at first, but by completing four quests, it can hold up to ten. Orange Woodskip Roe and wood are the most common products, but other tree-related goods can be made starting at population 6.
Tailoring
The Fishing Vest can be made by putting the Woodskip in the spool of the Sewing Machine. It can be used to make orange dye in the dye pots at Emily and Haley’s house on Willow Lane, 2 Willow Lane.
Quests
Dorado, Lingcod, or Pike can ask for two Woodskip in a Fish Pond quest to make the pond hold 10 fish instead of 7.
