Hempel tweeted in March 2020 after an intimate video allegedly starring him and Murray surfaced online. “If you have the video, please erase it,” the online celebrity wrote, prompting supporters to respond with encouragement.
The personal video, according to sources, was first shared on Murray’s social media. Later, he apologized to his admirers, stating that his account had been Hacked. He penned, First and foremost, I’d want to apologize to my supporters. My account has been hacked, and I’m now attempting to resolve the situation. Following that, the pair — who had been routinely connected to one other up until that point — was questioned, and it was unclear if they were still together. Curiosity has also grown since they haven’t made any public appearances together, nor have they shared or acknowledged each other in a single post on social media.

The New York Post reported that Murray and Hempel are separated until Hempel’s 24th birthday in September 2020. Hempel celebrated her birthday without Murray because he was stationed in the NBA’s Orlando bubble and no one else was allowed to stay with the players per COVID-19.
When Hempel published a photo of her 25th birthday a few days ago, several fans feared they had broken up again. Her photo and post didn’t include Murray, so the assumption was made. We must wait until they validate our assumptions in the following days.

Murray and Hempel attended the same college, the University of Kentucky, in 2015, where Murray played basketball for the collegiate team, and Hempel was a member of the volleyball squad.
