Bait is a very common but important thing you will need to be able to trap and catch what ever you are hunting. This process is also true in Stardew Valley when you are fishing. Of course you must have an idea of how to attach a bait in Stardew Valley before you can fish.
Stardew Valley how to attach bait
On Windows
Open the inventory and click on the bait to insert it to a fishing rod. Now, “Left Click” or “Right Click” on your mouse depending on the number of baits you intend to use and Click on the rod.
One piece of bait or one magnet is used for each casting. When all of the bait has been consumed, the game displays a message that says “You’ve used your last piece of bait.”
On Xbox
If you are a user of Xbox, the process is quiet different from other games consoles. On an Xbox controller, press (A) located on the bait to select the whole stack or click on (X) to select a single one. Then on (X) again to attach it to the rod.
On PS4
For PS4 lovers and users, attaching a bait to your hook in Stardew valley is simple. On a PS4 controller, press (X) on the bait to select the whole stack (or ( [] ) to pick up a single one), then ( [] ) to attach to the rod.
Nintendo
If you are a Stardew Valley player on Nintendo there is a simple way you can attach your bait to your hook. On a Nintendo Switch Controller, Press (A) on the bait to select the whole stack or on (Y) to pick a single one. Then press on (Y) again to attach it to the rod.
On Nintendo, baits can be detached by pressing (X).
On Mobile
Bait may be added to the fishing rod on the mobile version by opening the inventory, dragging the bait, and dropping it on top of the rod.
