Top Hair Salon Near You that You Can Visit for a Quality Hair Care

Let’s face it, When ever you go on the internet to search for hair salons near me, it definitely means there is something wrong with your hair that you might want it to be taken care of. There are little issues with the hair that you can sometimes take care of by yourself, but when you need a professional touch then it needs the services of a hairstylist. This is true among many girls out there and I have definitely learned so much along the way, so I decided to share with you some of the tips that are good for making your hair feel strong, healthy and lush.

Hair Tips

Washing your Hair

So, let’s start from washing, if you are washing your hair every single day, that is where you may be going wrong. Although first day hair can be like the luscious time where your hair looks its best, but it is damaging your hair by stripping it off all the natural healthy oils that it needs to stay shiny and vibrant. So, you can wean yourself off it by doing it once every two days then once every three days, I personally wash my hair once every once a week maybe twice a week if I’m going out and the way I managed to do that is sometimes I’ll do different hairstyles.

I really highly recommend reducing the number of times that you are washing your hair, that can really help revive your hair, allow it to breathe, allow it to build up those natural oils that it needs to stay healthy.

Avoid using Conditioner on you roots

My next tip for you all is, do not use a conditioner on your roots, your roots should have all the natural oils that it needs and so when you’re using conditioner which is to soften your hair, you should just put it into the bottom of your hair and work your way up a couple of inches before your roots. That way you don’t get buildup in your scalp and you nourish the parts that need it.

While we are looking at washing your hair, what temperature do you wash your hair, that is the real question. So, I know some people say you should wash it with extreme cold water and some of you also like that hot steamy water is used when you’re washing your hair, but the best is always in the middle. Lukewarm water is exactly what your hair needs. It provides enough shine but it doesn’t dry out like hot water does. So, when you are washing your hair out, make sure you are using lukewarm water. If you want an extra shine at the end, you can make it a little cooler but I would recommend for general shampoo conditioner wash, keep it neutral.

Utensils

Let’s talk utensils that you were using in the shower like a hairbrush, I actually don’t use a hairbrush in the shower I use my fingers and I run my fingers through my hair when I have got my conditioner in it, but if you are using hair brushes you have to be really careful with the type that you are using according to the type of hair that you have. for example, if you have curly hair, using a wide bristle brush is far better than using a thin comb. actually, using thin combs can end up breaking your hair especially if you have a bad quality one like a plastic brush.

Scalp Massage

The next tip, I’m sure you are going to thank me for because I’m going to be telling you that you deserve a scalp massage every single day. Now whether you’re doing it for yourself or whether you’re getting your partner’s or your friends to do it for you, it is so good for your hair. actually, scalp massage can help stimulate the hair follicles and help to increase the blood circulation and the blood flow to your hair follicles. And what does that mean? It means more nutrients get to your scalp which means, the more you have or grow. It also helps relax and the nerves going through your head but also helps with dryness of scalp too. So, all in all, it sounds like a winner. You can massage your hair dry or you can use a few drops of lavender oil, or you can even use a lot of oil in your hair, which I’m going to talk about later.
