Scarecrow in Stardew valley is a very useful tool to scare crows away from your farm. Now if you are someone who knows much about farming, Crows are kind of birds that can do a lot of damages to your farm and reduce your farming yields.
Stardew Valley Scarecrow
A Scarecrow is a craftable item that keeps crows away from your crops. Scarecrows can be made at level 1 of Farming. Because crows do not attack crops cultivated from Wild Seeds, scarecrows are unnecessary.
You don’t need to plant any scarecrows on the Ginger Island farm because there are no crows.

Range
A Scarecrow will protect the surrounding circular area of 248 spaces; 8 spaces each to the north, east, south, and west, as well as 6 spaces each to the northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest. In other words, it protects a 17×17 area, excluding 10 spaces in each corner.
Rarecrows
Rarecrows function similarly to ordinary Scarecrows, with the exception of the Alien Scarecrow, which may wear headgear. A letter providing the formula to make a Deluxe Scarecrow will arrive shortly after gathering all 8 rarecrows (typically the next day).
